Chocolate de Sonsonate

$8.00

Chocolate has been produced and grown in the Americas for centuries prior to European contact. It has been used in ritual and the seeds of cacao have been used as currency.

These chocolates are best for making hot (or iced) chocolate. Grown and processed in Sonsonate, El Salvador. Sweetened with cane sugar and spiced with cinnamon.

Floral, warm, and spiced in taste.

Comes in a bundle of two disks. 6-8 servings depending on desired taste.

Tip: combine 1/3 of a disk with 8 oz of boiling water or milk, serve hot. Goes great in coffee as well…

For an iced preparation, melt 1/3 of a disk with 4 oz boiling water and pour over ice, then add cold water to taste.
